Our Story

Hythe Cellar was opened in 2021 by Alessandro Allegretti after he visited the seaside town and fell in love with its quaint charms. Being a wine enthusiast and owning a successful wine shop in Bermondsey, he saw the opportunity to bring his knowledge to the local people of Hythe.

Alessandro formed the next chapter of his wine business, bringing his exclusive selection of Italian wines to the Kentish Coast and promoting some of the Garden of England's own winemakers.
